Not really sure what is going on, I was investigating for cookies placed by the site, and I noticed that I see an error on all pages when it looks for the piwik.js script, and it shows an error 404?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

probably the configuration of your Piwik environment in JPiwik is wrong.
Can you post your configuration here os I can try to help you?

Can it be because the site is running https and the piwik is running http?
I haven't set it to use https, as I only have one host, and the certificate reads the url of the main site.
My site is called www.domain.com
the piwik is called analytics.domain.com
So I call the piwik with analytics.domain.com

I tried entering an https address, I don't see any errors at the moment, but I'm unsure if it really activates the piwik
