JINC 0.6.1 released
Joomla! Integrated Newsletter Component ver. 0.6.1 is fully compatible with PHP 4.
It has been tested with these configurations
- PHP 5.2.9 + MySQL 5.1.33
- PHP 4.3.4 + MySQL 4.0.17
- PHP 5.2.13 + MySQL 5.0.82
- PHP 4.4.4 + MySQL 4.0.24

JINC 0.6 released
Joomla! Integrated Newsletter Component ver. 0.6 has been released. This version implements some new basic functionalities as
- Auto subscription at user registration time.
- Event based statistics.
- Improved CVS importing tools.

JINC 0.5 released
Joomla! Integrated Newsletter Component ver. 0.5 has been released. This version implements some new basic functionalities as
- Message Template Management.
- Improved installation process.
- Administration homepage printing your and latest version of JINC.
JINC 0.5 can be downloaded from the download page.
With JINC 0.5 you can define your newsletters and their related messages and with this new version you can define a message template from who you can inherit preformatted text. With JINC 0.5 you do not need to install component (com_jinc) and module (mod_jinc_news_access) separately, but you can simply install only the component and the module will be automatically installed.

JINC 0.4 released
Joomla! Integrated Newsletter Component ver. 0.4 has been released. This version implements some new basic functionalities as
- Public Newsletters Management.
- AJAX implemented mail sending process.
- Tools to load subscribers from CSV files.
JINC 0.4 can be downloaded from the download page and is composed by a component (com_jinc-0.4) and a module (mod_jinc_news_access-0.4).
With JINC 0.4 you can define your newsletters and their related messages. There are three available types of newsletters: protected, private and public. A protected newsletter can be accessed by every logged user. A private newsletter can be accessed only by user groups listed in "Access Right" section defined during the creation of the newsletter. A public newsletter can be accessed by every (also not logged) users simply giving an email address. At subscription and unsubscription time the user will receive an opt-in message to confirm the validity of given mail address. You can use the module mod_jinc_news_access to list the newsletters an user can access and subscribe to.
The 0.4 version solves also a security issue from here. |

Joomla! Integrated Newsletter Component ver. 0.3 has been released. This version implements some new basic functionalities as
- Attachment management.
- Image embedding capabilities.
- Loading sample data tool.
- Protected and Private newsletter definition with user groups management.
- Frontend module to list the newsletters accessible by an user.
JINC 0.3 can be downloaded from the download page and is composed by a component (com_jinc-0.3) and a module (mod_jinc_news_access-0.3).
