I executed the query successfully (I do not know what was the aim as I did not check the row before the execution) but the problem persists. I tried to replace the newsletter with the sample public newsletter but it did not show up in the module either. I made an administrator account if you want to look into the backend (if I made some stupid mistake) but I do not want to share the login public - do you have some email address?

Hi PlyG,

in that case the problem seemed related to Joomla! 2.5.2 ... and the user solved upgrading to 2.5.4. If you are using that Joomla! version or previous try to upgrade the the last one.
Otherwise you should check the ACL related to the newsletter an in particular be sure that Public User has access to it.

Let me know if my suggestion are useful to solve the problem.

I am also having this issue on several j2.5.6 Sites. This was working fine last time I updated site. I have not touched either site in over a month, but it stopped working sometime in the last month. I have not made any changes to Joomla in the last month. I verified newsletter is still public and published, I created new Newsletters, I reset ACls, Plugin is Enabled.
