installation was not working well :|
user jincsubcription is locked in joomla and gives me error 500 what is that meaning?
Module mod_jinc_subscription Module XML data non available
 
what happened during installation and how can i recover it?
 
is there any solution to repair this or install this which maps must i give temporary acces to install properly?

Hi Johan,
a partial installation can recover removing files from file system and eventually removing data from database by hand.
In order to give you exact information I need to know if your environment runs on Joomla! 1.5 or 1.6. If you are using Joomla! 1.6 try to install again JINC without uninstall it ... this shoul overwrite file system data and probably you'll manage to uninstall JINC without any further problems ...

I am using joomla 1.6 and reinstalling gives me this results I think it is an 755 problem of one of the maps which has to write to them during the installation, so uninstalling and then? I need a newslettre item for my so just started radio see tvnr.nl (dutch) at this moment i am missing some menu items on the right site of my joomla pffff

excuse me, but I'm not sure to undestand your situation.
You reinstalled JINC and you obtained an error or did you manage to uninstall it successfully? In the first case let me know the error, maybe I can help you to solve it.
If you think to have some file system rights problem (755) I can list the directories on which JINC (and probably other newsletter compoments) installation need to write to check if these directories have correct rights ...
I'd ask you to explain your situation as better as you can in order to find a solution ...

everything works fine only jinc will not install, which i need for my new radio station. when i checked the installation user jincsubcription is locked in joomla and gives me error 500 what is that meaning?

gives me the results when i look into the modules.
so far as i know a friend of my said did you installed koowa, because it is installed, but i cannot remember that! is it belongs to joomla 1.6 I really don't know.
so jinc is not reading the xml because it cannot find them.
could it be koowa, or is something went wrong, the strangest thing is i had it seen working and later on it was gone.
I am a really beginner of joomla so i don't know everything.
during installation i had to open (rights) several maps language the modules etc. then it was installed very quick. so installation went good after done some steps

so ... at the end you did manage to install JINC correctly ... as I understand it seems main problem was due to rights on file system and some incompatibility with koowa ... did I understand correctly?
